Bonnie Would Be Thankful For A Forever Home!

WAG welcomes Bonnie to our rescue! Bonnie is a sweet and tiny 6 lbs Maltese.

Bonnie was surrendered to a shelter for unknown reasons, with very little information. We are unsure of her age however, she is estimated to be 6 years old.

Bonnie had a severe dental disease and had to have 9 teeth pulled. She proudly shows off her snaggle tooth!

This sweetie is spayed, up to date on shots and tested negative for heartworm disease. She is currently on heartworm prevention and has been micro chipped. She needs some work on potty training, as she's about 50/50 right now.

Bonnie is currently in a foster home and does well socializing with other dogs. She is very shy and quiet and keeps to herself. Bonnie is a bit confused and seems sad with the transition, but is doing well. This sweet girl loves attention and deserves a home to call her own.

Please show Bonnie what a "forever" home is, and welcome this sweet girl into your life.

Our adoption fee is $250.00 (cash or credit card)

This sweetheart will be at the Livonia PetSmart on Saturdays from 11-3. Come up and meet this cutie!

Phoenix Will Rise Again!

Phoenix is a very special boy who had a very rough start, yet today is a lovable, vivacious and devoted companion.

As a stray, Phoenix was left to fend for himself in the bitter cold of winter. He found the only heat that was available to keep him warm which was under a running car. Something spooked Phoenix causing him raise up and hit the car's muffler. That one quick moment left him with a burn across his back and many, many months of recuperation. With much love, care and laser therapy, his scar is just a slight reminder of what he has endured!

Today Phoenix is a loving, playful, devoted and dominant male cat with a zest for life that is magical. He currently resides in a foster home with several other cats. However, after several months in residence, he still doesn't socialize well with the older established cats. He definitely wants to be the boss! Phoenix does have a very playful and paternal side when it comes to juveniles/or kittens...He LOVES them!

It would be best if Phoenix was the only male cat in the residence. He has also never been exposed to dogs or very young children. Phoenix is now ready to start the next chapter in his life and is in search of his permanent forever home! Phoenix will truly melt your heart!

Clint Eastwood is Quite the Star!

Clint Eastwood and his brothers, Mondo and Nino, were owner surrenders. They have had a rough time and had spent a long time at the shelter until Shelter To Home decided they needed a second chance at a long life in a new loving home.

Clint is about 7 or 8 years old but is very loving and affectionate. He will make someone very happy. He enjoys lots of attention and will adjust well to a home with other cat(s) but is a bit leery of dogs but could adjust if introduced properly. He and his brothers deserve another chance at a loving home after being put through being uprooted and surrendered to a shelter at 7 years old.

If you would like to meet Clint please contact us at kevangelist@hotmail.com

THESE BRINDLES ARE A MATCH

Guess who we found running along the railroad tracks? This matching pair of brindle hounds, that's who. So we brought them in and are keeping them safe and warm. There is a male and female. They could be related, but we're not sure. They were very, very skinny when they first arrived, so could have been stray for some time. But since they've been here they are gaining back their weight and looking gorgeous. They are a friendly pair together, but are just as happy by themselves and are ready for a caring family to give them a forever home. If your looking for a brindle beauty, won't you consider either, or both of them for a loving and loyal addition to your family.

If you are interested in either of these dogs, you will need to fill out an adoption application which you can do at the Wyandotte Adoption Center, Grove St., Wyandotte or online at: http://wacshelter.com/dform.html

Adoption fee is $95.00 each. This includes spay/neuter and vaccinations. These dogs are currently being housed at the Downriver Central Animal Control facility. To make arrangements to see them, contact the Wyandotte Adoption Center or Downriver Central Animal Control.

MEET SILLY GILLY

We knew Gilly was a silly boy the first day he came to the shelter. He rolled and sprawled and playfully pawed and made it quite clear he wasn't meant to be in a cage. He is just about as friendly and sweet as they come! Whenever his cage door is opened he will climb up on a shoulder and give you kisses. He will easily make himself at home with whomever adopts him. Too sweet!

Oh, and did we mention that he's quite the looker, too? Okay, okay. Enough gushing over Gilly. Come and see for yourself how silly Gilly can be.

If you are interested in Gilly come visit him at the Wyandotte Adoption Center @ 1170 Grove St, Wyandotte. You will need to fill out an adoption application which you can do there or online at: http://wacshelter.com/cform.html

Adoption fee is $ 65.00. This includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccs and combo test.
