Finn Will Be Your Huckleberry!

This adorable little boy is Huckleberry Finn! He weighs just under 10 lbs.

Huckleberry Finn and his brother, Tom Sawyer, were surrendered to our rescue. These sweet puppies are about 8 weeks old. We believe he will be between 50-60 lbs when full grown and may be some sort of Shepherd/Pit Bull mix, but that's just a guess.

Finn loves to be with people and cuddle. He also spends hours chasing his brother around and exploring the big new world. He would do best with another active dog to help burn off some of his puppy energy.

He is at the chewing stage, so caution needs to be taken in making his environment safe. He is not house trained, so he will need someone willing to train him. He will need to go outside many times a day.

Finn's new home will REQUIRE A PHYSICAL FENCED yard. Please no apartments or condos. Because of his size, he would do best in a home without small children under the age of 6. He would not do well being locked up for 8 or more hours a day. He will need a home with someone willing to enroll him in training courses. He is fostered with other dogs and does great with them!

Huckleberry Finn is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, on flea & heartworm preventative and is microchipped. He will be required to be neutered by his adopter when he is around 6 months old.

Our adoption fee for Huckleberry is $250.00 (cash or credit card), which includes a $50 neuter deposit that is refunded upon his neuter surgery.

Give Cooper A Home For The Holidays!

This beautiful boy was initially surrendered to WAG by a breeder because he had a liver shunt. Once that was taken care of, we noticed that something was not right with little Cooper. Cooper was then taken to a neurologist where he was diagnosed with Hyrdocephalus, water on the brain. Thankfully it is not a severe case, he does not have seizures.

Cooper has limited vision, the vet thinks he can probably only see shadows. He bumps into things when startled. He is not, or may never be a lap dog. He squirms violently when he is picked up. Cooper will never be a normal dog.

It is very hard to groom him, he will need to go to the vet for sedated grooming. He can not go outside. He sometimes uses pee pads and sometimes has accidents.

With Coopers neurological condition, he does not balance very well so when he urinates he pretty much lays down. When he has a bowl movement, he pretty much sits down.

With Cooper's condition, he is a VERY picky eater and he is a grazer. His dry kibble is cut into sizes that Cooper likes. If it is not small enough, he will leave them all over the floor around his bowl. If you have other pets, you must pay attention that they will not eat all of his food. He barks when he is hungry.

Cooper is 2 years old and weighs 4 lbs.

Our adoption fee is $250.00 (cash or credit card)

The Real Slim Pickens!

Introducing, Mr. Slim Pickens, a whopping 9 pounds of non-stop dynamite!

Slim is 4 months old, maybe a Whippet or possibly an Italian Greyhound, who was rescued from a shelter where he was turned in as a stray. Whatever his pedigree, he is full of love and energy.

This guy is extremely active and loves to run around and play with toys. He seems to like other dogs, and is even learning to trust the larger dogs in his foster home. He is showing a bit too much interest in the resident cats, so we feel he would fit best in a home without them.

Slim is very affectionate towards his humans and LOVES to cuddle next to, or on your lap when he is not actively playing.

He is still quite young and he does have some very typical puppy behaviors that will need to be addressed through proper training such as biting, chewing, and jumping. For this reason, Slim would do better in a home without children under the age of 8. He would also not do well being locked in a crate for 8 hours a day (he is improving on the house training, but he is too small to "hold it" all day). Because he is so active, Slim will require a PHYSICALLY FENCED YARD in order to run, romp, and exercise properly.

Slim is not yet fully house trained, but he is improving. He is also vaccinated, micro-chipped, on heart worm and flea preventative, dewormed, and crate trained.

Our adoption fee is $250.00 (cash or credit card) + $75 refundable neuter deposit. He will be REQUIRED to be neutered by 6 months of age.

Cuddle Up With Aurora!

Aurora is a super sweet girl that is about 1-2 years old.

This sweetie was rescued from a bad housing situation and was in poor condition. She was infested with fleas that caused a skin infection, had ear mites and was suffering from lack of proper nutrition. Lucky for her, we got to her at the right time and she is now back to good health.

Aurora loves attention, but needs to get to know you first. She is very sweet and wants nothing but to cuddle and be loved on.

She does fine with other cats and doesn't seem to mind dogs either.

Aurora is up to date on vaccines, spayed, negative for FIV & FeLV and dewormed.

Our cat/kitten adoption fee is $75.00 (cash or credit card).

Root For Rudy To Make It To His Dream Home!

This darling little boy is named Rudy. This Chihuahua mix is about 3 months old and weighs just over 5 pounds. He was rescued from an animal shelter, and is being fostered with WAG until he finds his forever home.

Rudy is very smart and has learned a lot, very quickly. He is doing very well with potty training.

He sleeps all night in his crate. He goes to bed around 9pm and is up around 6:30am. He loves and needs chew toys. He loves the resident dog and is starting to warm up to his foster dad. He is a big time kisser!

Rudy would do best with a physically fenced yard and in a home without small children under the age of 5. He would not do well being locked up for 8 or more hours a day. He also needs a home with someone willing to enroll him in training courses.

This sweetie is up to date on vaccines, on flea & heartworm prevention, microchipped and dewormed.

Our adoption fee is $325.00 (cash or credit card), which includes a $75 neuter deposit. He will be required to be neutered by or before 6 months of age

Our Darling Damian!

Damian was found living outside in a feral cat colony, but he's not at all feral!

We believe he is about 2-4 years old and is a Hemingway Polydactyl, better known as an extra toes cat. Due to his colors, we believe he may have Egyptian Mau in him as well, but we aren't quite sure. In any case, he is a unique looking boy with extra toes!

This sweetie loves attention, but needs to trust you first. We believe he may have been someone's cat and was thrown outside, so he is initially hesitant to trust people.

Damian likes neck, ear and chin scratches. He likes his food and uses his litter box like a champ!

He would do well with other cats, but is very unsure of dogs. Consequently, he may not do well with hyper, active dogs.

Damian is neutered, up to date on vaccines, tested negative for FIV & FeLV and dewormed. Our adoption fee for Damian is $100.00 (cash or credit card).
