Give Cooper A Home For The Holidays!

This beautiful boy was initially surrendered to WAG by a breeder because he had a liver shunt. Once that was taken care of, we noticed that something was not right with little Cooper. Cooper was then taken to a neurologist where he was diagnosed with Hyrdocephalus, water on the brain. Thankfully it is not a severe case, he does not have seizures.

Cooper has limited vision, the vet thinks he can probably only see shadows. He bumps into things when startled. He is not, or may never be a lap dog. He squirms violently when he is picked up. Cooper will never be a normal dog.

It is very hard to groom him, he will need to go to the vet for sedated grooming. He can not go outside. He sometimes uses pee pads and sometimes has accidents.

With Coopers neurological condition, he does not balance very well so when he urinates he pretty much lays down. When he has a bowl movement, he pretty much sits down.

With Cooper's condition, he is a VERY picky eater and he is a grazer. His dry kibble is cut into sizes that Cooper likes. If it is not small enough, he will leave them all over the floor around his bowl. If you have other pets, you must pay attention that they will not eat all of his food. He barks when he is hungry.

Cooper is 2 years old and weighs 4 lbs.

Our adoption fee is $250.00 (cash or credit card)
