Cuddle Up With Wolfie!

Wolfgang, AKA Wolfie, is a Pomeranian mix that is about 8 lbs (should be 10 lbs after putting on weight), and we believe to be about 1-2 years old.

He is a happy little guy who wants nothing more than to snuggle! He can be a little hand shy at first, but warms up quickly. Anyone that will give him pets is his new best friend!

He loves cuddling and wants to curl up right on your chest or lap, but is completely fine with laying on his dog bed as well.

Wolfie did mark/have potty issues when he was first brought into foster, but has since taken well to verbal corrections. Once he's neutered, hopefully his urge to mark will be corrected.

This sweetie does also suffer from simple partial seizures. He has been in foster care for about a month and has had two of these seizures. The seizures are being monitored and are very mild. They are believed to be caused by stressful situations, such as grooming blow dryers, loud environments (shelters), etc. Our vet does not feel it is necessary for him to be on regular medication, however, this may be required in the future.

Wolfie will require a home with a fenced in yard, or the ability to take him out regularly for exercise. He would benefit from having a home with another dog to keep him company. He will require a home with the ability to monitor him closely due to his seizures, so a person that is home a lot would be ideal. He will require additional training (obedience & potty) and his ideal new home would be willing to enroll him in classes.

Wolfie is currently up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm & flea preventative and dewormed. He is scheduled to be neutered the week of 2/19 and will be available for adoption on or around 2/26/2018.

Our adoption fee for Wolfgang is $250.00 (cash or credit card)

This sweetheart will be at the Livonia PetSmart on Saturdays from 11-3. Come up and meet this cutie!
