Our Wonderful Winnie!

Meet Winnie! She’s a Jack Russell Terrier Mix who weighs in at approximately 14lbs. She is just a little over 7 years old.

Winnie was rescued from the shelter just days before Christmas. She was sadly a part of a neglect case, where the previous owner had stopped feeding her. She was only let out of her small crate to roam the streets to find food, even in the freezing cold.

Even though she was neglected, she’s the sweetest dog. She’s very mild mannered, comes when you call her name and can sit. She loves to play fetch and tug of war. She’s also a big cuddle bug who is always near her foster mom.

Winnie does have some mild anxiety when left alone. She does not like to be crated and is not 100% potty trained.

This sweetie is looking for a quiet, loving home with another dog friend for her to play with. She can also be a little skittish, so a home with older children or no children is best.

Winnie also has epilepsy and will require her new home to give her medication two times a day and  have regular blood work done to ensure her medication is working.

She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, on heartworm and flea preventative, and up to on her vaccines.

Winnie may not be at our adoption events, but her Foster Mom is available for "meet and greets" during the week. If interested in Winnie, please fill out an application at

Our adoption fee is $250.00 (cash or credit card)
